The future is built with -ecek or -acak by vowel harmony, then the personal ending: gideceğim, yapacağız. Between two vowels the k softens to ğ, which is why gidecek plus im becomes gideceğim.
Examples
- Cumartesi sinemaya gideceğiz.
- On Saturday we will go to the cinema.
- Yarın seni arayacağım.
- Tomorrow I will call you.
- Hafta sonu ne yapacaksın?
- What will you do at the weekend?
The mistake to avoid
The k softens before a vowel: gideceğim, never "gidecekim".
