Put nie directly before the verb. A negative sentence also changes its object: what would be accusative becomes GENITIVE. Mam czas becomes nie mam czasu. Polish keeps double negatives, so nie mam nic is correct.

The object case change is easy to forget: mam czas but nie mam czasu.
