An adjective matches its noun in gender, number and case. In the basic form that means -y or -i for masculine, -a for feminine and -e for neuter: dobry chleb, dobra kawa, dobre piwo.
Examples
- To jest dobra kawa.
- This is a good coffee.
- Chleb jest świeży.
- The bread is fresh.
- Zimne piwo, proszę.
- A cold beer, please.
The mistake to avoid
The adjective changes with the case too, so it moves whenever the noun does.
