Greek has no apostrophe-s: possession and the English word 'of' are both carried by the genitive case, and the article changes along with the noun ending. Masculine -ος words go to -ου (ο φίλος, του φίλου), feminine words to -ης or -ας (η τιμή, της τιμής), and neuter -ι words to -ιού (το παιδί, του παιδιού). The possessor follows the thing possessed.

The mistake to avoid
The commonest mistake is leaving the article in the nominative: «η τιμή το παντελόνι» instead of «η τιμή του παντελονιού». In the genitive the article AND the noun ending both change.
