A Greek adjective agrees in gender, number and case with its noun: μεγάλος άντρας, μεγάλη τσάντα, μεγάλο παιδί. In the accusative these become μεγάλο, μεγάλη, μεγάλο. Colours and sizes follow exactly the same pattern.

- Αυτή η φούστα είναι πολύ μικρή.
- This skirt is too small.
- Έχετε μεγαλύτερο μέγεθος;

The mistake to avoid
The adjective changes with the noun even when the noun ending looks unfamiliar.
