A reported yes/no question keeps the question clitic: «Tuletko?» becomes «Hän kysyi, tulenko minä». An information question keeps its question word: «Hän kysyi, milloin kokous alkaa». Note that the reported clause is a normal subordinate clause - the word order does not invert the way it does in English.

The mistake to avoid
The clitic attaches to the word being questioned, and that word comes first: «olinko lukenut» asks about the having-read, «minäkö olin lukenut» asks whether it was ME.
