Welsh has no separate habitual tense: you say what you do every day with 'bod' + 'yn'/''n' + the dictionary form of the verb (the verb-noun), exactly like saying what is happening now. Add a time phrase like 'bob dydd' or 'am saith' to show it is a routine.
Examples
- Dw i'n codi am saith o'r gloch bob bore.
- I get up at seven o'clock every morning.
- Mae e'n gweithio yn y dre.
- He works in town.
- Dyn ni'n cael cinio am un.
- We have lunch at one.
The mistake to avoid
There is no separate 'I get up' vs 'I am getting up' — the same 'Dw i'n codi' covers both, so don't hunt for a second tense.
