To say something is done without naming the doer, add -il/-ıl/-ul/-ül to a consonant stem, -in/-ın/-un/-ün to a stem ending in l, and just -n to a stem ending in a vowel; then the normal tense endings follow. If you must name the doer, use tarafından.
