To ask whether someone has ever done something, put vreodată after the verb: ai fost vreodată. Deja goes right after the auxiliary: am deja. Niciodată means never and requires a nu before the verb - Romanian keeps both negatives.

The mistake to avoid
Niciodată always needs its nu: nu am fost niciodată, never just "am fost niciodată".
