Romanian modals are followed by să plus the subjunctive, not by a bare infinitive: pot să vin, trebuie să plec, vreau să răspund. A trebui is impersonal in the present - it stays trebuie for every person, and only the second verb tells you who is meant.

- Vreau să răspund la emailul lui.
- I want to reply to his email.
The mistake to avoid
Don't drop the să - "pot vin" is wrong, it must be "pot să vin".
