Beyond -ar there are verbs in -er/-re and in -ir. The -ir group splits in two: some, like dormir, take plain endings, while a large group, like servir and patir, insert -eix- in the singular and third-person plural.

- I eat fish nearly every day.
- Beus vi o aigua?
- Do you drink wine or water?
- Vivim a prop del restaurant.
- We live near the restaurant.
The mistake to avoid
The -eix- group is large - serveixo, not "servo".
