An adjective adds -t with an et-word, -e in the plural, and -e again after a definite word like den, det or a possessive. So it is et godt måltid, gode måltider and det gode måltid.
Examples
- Det er et godt måltid.
- It's a good meal.
- Kaffen er varm.
- The coffee is hot.
- De grønne æbler er billige.
- The green apples are cheap.
The mistake to avoid
The -t is only for et-words: en god kaffe, but et godt brød.
