Use komme fra plus the country: Jeg kommer fra Spanien. Nationality and language words are written in lower case, unlike English, and the language usually has the same form as the adjective - dansk is both "Danish" and "the Danish language".
Examples
- Jeg kommer fra Spanien.
- I come from Spain.
- Hun er tysk, og jeg er engelsk.
- She is German and I am English.
- Han taler godt dansk.
- He speaks Danish well.
The mistake to avoid
Lower case: dansk and engelsk, never "Dansk".
