Use я из plus the country in the genitive, which usually means -и or -а on the end: из России, из Англии, из Испании. To say which language you speak, use по- plus an adverb: по-русски, по-английски.
Examples
- Я из Испании.
- I'm from Spain.
- Она из Германии, а я из Англии.
- She's from Germany and I'm from England.
- Я говорю по-русски.
- I speak Russian.
The mistake to avoid
It is по-русски, not "по-русский" - the language form after говорить ends in -и.
