Make most comparatives by replacing the adjective ending with -ее (интересный → интереснее); this one form never changes. Follow it with чем plus the dictionary form, or drop чем and put the second item in the genitive.

The mistake to avoid
Adding более to a word that already ends in -ее — "более быстрее" is a double comparative and wrong.
