Adverbs like zawsze, często, czasami and nigdy go before the verb: nigdy nie chodzę. Counted frequency uses raz, dwa razy plus w and the locative: raz w tygodniu, dwa razy w miesiącu. Nigdy always keeps a nie with the verb.

- Nigdy nie chodzę na siłownię.
- I never go to the gym.
- Spotykamy się dwa razy w miesiącu.
- We meet twice a month.
- Prawie zawsze jem śniadanie w domu.
- I almost always eat breakfast at home.
The mistake to avoid
Two negatives are required: nigdy nie chodzę, never just "nigdy chodzę".
