A Norwegian adjective adds -t with an et-word and -e in the plural or after a definite word: et trøtt barn, trøtte barn, den trøtte mannen. After er the same rule applies, so jeg er trøtt but vi er trøtte.
Examples
- I dag er jeg trøtt.

- Vi er glade for det nye huset.
- We are happy about the new house.
- Barnet er trist i dag.
