An adjective adds -t with an et-word and -e in the plural, and takes -e again after a definite word or a possessive. So godt brød, gode epler, det gode brødet.
Examples
- Det er et godt måltid.
- It's a good meal.
- Kaffen er varm.
- The coffee is hot.
- De grønne eplene er billige.
- The green apples are cheap.
The mistake to avoid
The -t is only for et-words: en god kaffe, but et godt brød.
