The two commonest verbs are irregular, but Norwegian verbs never change for person, so there is one form each: har and er, for every subject. Their infinitives are å ha and å være.
Examples
- Jeg har bestilt et bord.
- I've booked a table.
- Har dere brød?
- Do you have any bread?
- Maten er veldig god.
- The food is very good.
The mistake to avoid
Har and er cover every person - there is no extra ending to add.
