Dutch marks direction with naar: naar het werk, naar de les, naar huis. Being somewhere uses in, op or bij instead: op het werk, in de les. Naar huis needs no article at all, the same way English says home.

- Na de les ga ik naar huis.
- After the class I go home.
- Ik ben de hele dag op kantoor.
- I am at the office all day.
The mistake to avoid
Naar huis is going home; thuis is being at home.
