In a main clause, adverbs like altid, ofte, aldrig and tit go straight after the conjugated verb: jeg går aldrig. Counted frequency uses en gang, to gange plus om: en gang om ugen, to gange om måneden, and that phrase goes at the end.

The mistake to avoid
Danish uses one negative only: jeg går aldrig, not "jeg går ikke aldrig".
