Form the future by adding -é, -às, -à, -em, -eu, -an to the infinitive: parlaré, parlaràs, parlarà… A few common verbs use a short stem instead: faré, seré, tindré, aniré, podré.

- L'any que ve estudiaré medicina.
- Next year I'll study medicine.
- Demà treballarem tot el dia.
- Tomorrow we'll work all day.
- Si tinc temps, viatjaré a Itàlia.
- If I have time, I'll travel to Italy.
- Què faràs quan acabis la carrera?
- What will you do when you finish your degree?
The mistake to avoid
After si (a real condition) use the present, not the future: Si tinc temps…, never *Si tindré temps…*.
