To compare two things, attach -보다 ('than') to the thing you measure against and put 더 ('more') before the adjective. For the top of a group, put 제일 (or 가장) before the adjective instead.

- 이 가방이 저 가방보다 더 비싸요.
- This bag is more expensive than that one.
- 저는 사과보다 딸기를 더 좋아해요.
- I like strawberries more than apples.
- 이 가게가 이 동네에서 제일 싸요.
- This shop is the cheapest one in this neighbourhood.
The mistake to avoid
-보다 goes on the losing side, not the winning one: 'A가 B보다 더 커요' means A is bigger than B.
