For so many times per period, Korean puts 에 on the period and the count after it: 일주일에 한 번, 한 달에 두 번. Frequency adverbs such as 항상, 자주, 가끔 and 전혀 go before the verb, and 전혀 needs a negative with it.
Examples
- 저는 헬스장에 전혀 안 가요.
- I never go to the gym.
- 우리는 한 달에 두 번 만나요.
- We meet twice a month.
- 거의 항상 집에서 아침을 먹어요.
- I almost always eat breakfast at home.
The mistake to avoid
The order is reversed from English: 일주일에 한 번, literally in a week once.
